OUR FACILITY

Our operation is run inside a large glasshouse in Sydney, where we use the light and energy from the Sun to heat our grow-out ponds and supply light to these photosynthetic invertebrates. Use of natural sunlight means we can have lower net greenhouse gas emissions than the process of using boats to travel out to the reefs to collect wild coral.

While some species of coral have proven to be poorly suited to this kind of ‘farming’, we have a fairly broad range of coral that are very suitable and we are continuously expanding our range.

We use and recommend:

Reef Octopus

Reef Octopus protein skimmers

Tunze

Tunze stream pumps for water circulation
